Fishingboat charter trips are a favorite of our guests who rod fish or use spear guns. The waters that surround the Azuero Peninsula are known as “The Tuna Coast.”

 

HPC can arrange a fishing trip for you and your friends. Reserve a full-day or half-day outing. Experienced local captains know all the best fishing spots and can take you as far as the National Park Cerro Hoya.

 

Fish in our waters: Mahi-Mahi (Dorado), Bigeye Tuna (Atún), Yellowfin Tuna (Atún), Amber Jack, Rooster Fish (Papa Gallo), Snapper (Pargo), Grouper, Wahoo (season begins in May and peaks in October).

 

Sightseeing Boat Trips

 

If you’re not into fishing, the boat trips offer our guests the opportunity to see dolphins, turtles and, during migration season, whales. During a boat trip you can check out the area’s beautiful coastline or request to be taken to an off shore snorkeling spots.
